Dr. Papp is the Director of the UCLA Genotyping and Sequencing Core, and a member of the Bioinformatics Core of the Department of Human Genetics. Her research interests focus on the development of novel bioinformatic solutions and software for the management, integration, and analysis of clinical and genetic data. Toward these goals, she has developed the Integrated Genetic Database - IGDB - which will be used to store and manage the data of the Transplant Genomics Collaborative Group. Together with Steve Horvath in the Bioinformatics and Statistics Core of the Transplant Genomics Group, she will oversee the data flow from laboratory to analysis, and assist in the integration of data from the three projects.
