Funded by a grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infected Diseases, the Transplant Genomics Collaborative Group Project will focus on the application of developing technologies for gene expression profiling, proteomics, and complex trait genetics to advance our understanding of kidney transplantation in the context of both its clinical problems and the basic biology of transplantation.

It is also my hope that the Transplant Genomics Collaborative Group Project will serve as a community resource and forum for exchange among researchers, practitioners and families seeking to answer questions about issues related to kidney transplantation.
