Statistical Genomics Group - Resources

The laboratory is housed in the departments of Human Genetics and Statistics at UCLA. Both departments provide some office space and computing facilities, based on linux and G4 clusters.

Chiara Sabatti is faculty for the the interdepartimental training programs in Bioinformatics and Access. She is also a memeber faculty of the training grants UCLA genomic Analysis Training Grant and the IGERT training grant in bioinformatics.

Funding for the research in the laboratory is provided by:

  • NSF DMS award 0239427 CAREER: statistical and computational tools for the analysis of high dimensional genetic data.
  • CMISE: institute for cell mimetic space exploration, a NASA funded institute housed at UCLA
  • NSF Award 0326605 ITR:"Regulography"- Quantitative Reconstruction of Transcriptional Regulatory Networks
  • NIH grant awarded to Prof. Lange for Statistical Genetics Methods.
  • NIH grants awarded to Prof. Baloh and Freimer for the study of the genetics of disorders of the vestibular system and bipolar disorder.
