Computational methods seminars : this is a course seminar. Speakers are faculty members and postdoctoral fellows of the UCLA bioinformatics program. Seminars are Wednesday from 2 to 3:30.
Speaker Series - Human Genetics Department , Mondays 11:30am - 12:30 pm, Gonda Center Conference Room - Room 1357. A portion of these seminars is devoted to computational methods in genetics. In the listing, you can find references to articles that the speakers judged to be relevant background for the topic. On the friday preceeding the talk, a journal club meets in Gonda 4303 to discuss these papers at 3:00pm. You are wellcome to attend.

Statistical Physics and Biological Information : this site contains links to all the lectures of a 6 months program held at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at UCSB in 2001. Lots of first hand material from experts in the field.
Reference page of a course in Statistical methods in genetics : Susan Holmes teaches a class at Stanford that has some overlap with our course. She put together a page with a lot of useful references. You may also benefit from some.
